Elaine Pagels "Revelations" Review
As April DeConick has noted at Forbidden Gospels, Adam Gopnik has rather whimsically reviewed Elain Pagels's new book, Revelations on the book of Revelation and other ancient revelations in the New Yorker. It is quite an entertaining read.
I have a Ph.D. in Religion from Columbia University. I am currently a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Religion at Illinois Wesleyan University. My research focuses on the New Testament and emergent Christians in their ancient Jewish and Greco-Roman environments.
